Vol 107: The perfect burger condiment, striped mixing bowls, scalp sun protection + 4 more recommendations
1. Ayr The Secret Sauce Denim
Truthfully I forget about the brand Ayr, but they have some great basics. Their denim I’ve used for so many styling jobs and for various private styling clients. The Secret Sauce silhouette is that perfect blend of a looser leg but still fitted (which is a lot more flattering on a myriad of women compared to other shapes on the market) and the best part is that they come in different inseam lengths.
2. Pink Chicken Girls Rachel One Piece Swimsuit
Obsessed with this little girls swimsuit. It would be perfect for the 4th of July! Larger sizes in stock and available here.
3. The Quilters
This documentary, The Quilters, streaming on Netflix was so heartwarming. It’s short, only about 30 minutes, and it follows the lives of several men incarcerated at a maximum security prison who have found a new lease on life making quilts for foster children in the community.
4. Great Jones Stir Crazy Set
These colorful striped mixing bowls are a nice kitchen upgrade.
5. Sun Bum Scalp & Hair Mist
I’m eternally on a quest for blonde hair in the summer (and on beach vacations), so I rarely wear a hat and instead always opt for a visor, but that often leads to my scalp being burned. I’m always on the quest for a good scalp sunscreen and this one by Sun Bum has sunflower seed oil, so it’s supposed to help protect your hair, plus it’s water proof. Certainly worth a try!
6. Richard Scarry’s Seek and Find
My son absolutely loves the Richard Scarry hide and seek books. There are two different ones available - Busytown Seek and Find and Super Silly Seek and Find. We’ve checked them both out from the library multiple times at this point, and they’ve killed significant time trying to find everything on each page.
7. Ayoh! Hot Giardinayo Sauce
I featured Ayoh! a couple of months ago when I first ordered the starter pack and I can confidently say my favorite of the mix is the Hot Giardinayo one. I absolutely love it on burgers and mixed with ketchup on tater tots. If you like a spicy aioli type sauce, then you’ll enjoy this!
