Vol 105: A pad of butter notepad, the best botanical gardens, a favorite Napa hotel + 4 more recommendations
1. Petit Sézane x Lucia Vergara Girls Overalls
How adorable are these girls embroidered overalls from Sézane? Overalls on kids (sorry I can’t ever stand behind overalls on grown adults unless you’re a painter) get me every time - they’re so cute.
2. American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden
Highly recommend this three part docuseries on Netflix. An in-depth look at how the US hunted down Bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks. Featuring a combination of rare footage and interviews with CIA insiders (including one of the Seals from the mission that ultimately killed him), it’s gripping and truly amazing to learn more about the tireless behind the scenes work both before and after that fateful day that forever changed American history.
3. Auberge du Soleil
I recently stayed at Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, and if you’re looking for a luxe, adults only property in wine country, this is absolutely the spot. The rooms were incredibly spacious (with 1.5 bathrooms! what!), a fabulous pool, and even better service. They have a Michelin starred restaurant on property, but you’re also 5-10 minutes from so many different restaurants and wineries in greater Napa. It’s a splurge, but I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

4. Pad of Butter Notepad
This pad of butter notepad cracks me up - anyone in need of a gag gift?
5. Broken Country
I loved this book, Broken Country, by Clare Leslie Hall. A story about love, loss and relationships that alter our lives, it was heartbreaking yet I couldn’t wait to read it every night. The plot goes on some unsuspecting twists that certainly caught me by surprise. It’s definitely worth a read!
6. The Best Botanical Gardens in the US
Vogue recently came out with what they deemed “The Best Botanical Gardens in the US” and one of them was a personal favorite, San Francisco’s Botanical Garden (pictured above). It’s a magical oasis spanning 55-acres within Golden Gate Park and the best part is that it’s free to SF residents.
7. WNU x Bellamy Jean
Eyeing the capsule with textile designer Bellamy Jean and WNU, which features two different linen shirts with colorful, celestial embroidery. So cute worn over swim or paired with white denim, it’s a little more special than your average white button down.
