1. The Calamity Club

This book ended up in a completely different direction than I anticipated, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The latest book from Kathryn Stockett, the author of The Help, it follows a cast of women in 1930’s Mississippi. I won’t divulge much more than that except to say I laughed aloud and looked forward to reading it every night.

2. ADISTAR XLG 2.0

American artist Cory Infinite covered a pair of Adidas sneakers with recycled Ethernet cables for the World Cup. Pretty cool!
