1. Freda Salvador Elba Loafer
I picked up these chocolate suede loafers from Freda Salvador the other week and absolutely love them. Can’t wait to wear with denim and skirts once the temperatures drop.
2. Levain Cookies
Few things better than receiving great food, whether it’s a homemade dessert or a shipment of NYC bagels + lox (from Russ & Daughters, of course). I recently found out Levain is shipping their excellent cookies and it would make such a thoughtful gift. Who doesn’t love fresh, gooey cookies? And you get to bypass the long line at the original UWS location, win win.
3. Nili Lotan Megan Pants
These may be some of the best looking corduroy pants I’ve ever seen. In a gorgeous dark umber perfect for fall + winter, I’m enamored with these pants from Nili Lotan. Apparently I’m not the only one either as they’re selling like hot cakes and retailers keep completely selling out. The navy is equally as beautiful.
4. True Botanicals Pure Radiance Oil
I’ve been writing this newsletter for over a year and I’m shocked I haven’t yet recommended this face oil as it’s been a daily part of my skincare routine for 5+ years. It’s the best! It leaves you moisturized, glow-y and the best part is that you can layer makeup on top of it and you won’t have any weird pilling. My mom and I both swear by this stuff.
5. Lila and Hayes Collegiate Monogram Shop
Growing up in Texas and then going to UT meant that Texas/OU was one of the biggest weekends every fall. If you too want to brainwash your kid from a young age, these personalized outfits are a pretty adorable way to do it. They have tons of other colorways and schools too, if you don’t necessarily bleed orange. Hook ‘em!
6. Slow Horses
Totally hooked on Slow Horses, streaming on Apple TV. After the first episode I wasn’t sure if it was my kind of show, but by episode 2 I was all in and now totally understand why it (and Gary Oldman) has so many Emmy nominations. The rejects of MI5 are offloaded to a depressing London office run by Gary Oldman’s character, a slovenly, flatulent burnout. The deadpan humor and one liners are worth a watch alone, but it’s highly entertaining, hilarious and well written.
7. Gohar World Salad Servers
I looooove these Gohar World mother-of-pearl salad servers. Quite the finishing touch to a salad!
What is it about Gohar World? They just always have something irresistible!!!
obsessed with the loafers and salad servers -- you are going to make me broke, Sam!!
